RR15 & RR15E Unveiling

March 20, 2015

On Friday March 20th, 2015, Ravens Racing unveiled the RR15 and the RR15E at the Ottawa Gatineau International Auto Show.

After months of hard work, designing, planning, manufacturing, and testing, our cars were ready for the spotlight.

The RR15

Powered by a 250cc Yamaha engine, the RR15 is the newest combustion car from Ravens Racing.

Destined for competitions in Barrie Ontario, and Lincoln Nebraska, the RR15 features: a steel / carbon fibre composite frame, carbon fibre suspension and drive shafts, lightweight fiberglass bodywork, and a race data acquisition system.

The RR15E

The RR15E is the first all-electric car from Ravens Racing.

The RR15E will also be racing at competitions in Barrie, Ontario, and Lincoln, Nebraska and features: an Emrax 228 electric motor built by Enstroj, a Unitek Bamocar motor controller, and a 300 volt battery pack.

The electric car represents a new direction for Ravens Racing. With a higher power and torque output the RR15E promises to be fast and fun.

The auto show presented a great opportunity for the team to show off all of our hard work to an enthusiastic crowd, and gain public exposure in the local automotive world.

A big thanks to Trackwerks for giving the opportunity to be at the auto show, to all of our sponsors who helped us get here, and all of our supporters who came out to see us. You can find a list of all our awesome sponsors here.
